OSTUNI WEDDING ON THE BEACH

Watching Marcello propose on live television, both the wedding planner and I knew beforehand this wasn’t gonna be a normal wedding weekend. In fact, we were preparing for a real wedding show. 

Marcello is Italian, Magui is Argentinian, but somewhere along the way they lost their heart in the enchanting città bianca of Ostuni in Puglia, and so did I, photographing them in the little streets the night before the wedding. Just after sundown, the city was covered in a mesmerizing, soft glow.

For their stay, the couple opted for a luxury Masseria in Ostuni tucked away between the countryside and the beach. A catwalk of palm trees connects both and adds some tropical vibes. 

On the wedding day, they got ready with their closest crew late afternoon. Magui chose an elegant, split wedding dress, Marcelo on the other hand, went for Italian classy and added his own edge by wearing a tailor-made suit from his own luxury sartorial Cielo Milan.

Ostuni Wedding - THE CEREMONY

Arriving at the beach, the setting was stylish and elegant as always if you let it be planned by Mia Decor, and the dried flowers by Michele Zaurino finished off the whole. 

The sun setting, the waves crashing, the wind high, spirits higher… The ceremony with their little girl was amazing and that first kiss was just magic. Pure perfection After an Italian aperitivo with live music in lounge Ibiza style we hurried to the cliffs to take some beautiful sunset shots. Wedding dress sweeping in the wind, the newlyweds shining gold, this was beyond my imagination.

Mixed Italians and Chileans, the buffet served homemade Burata, affettati, foccacia and of course a finger licking assado Argentinian style. The vibes were good and the dances even better, especially when we put some latin music. After changing outfits, instead of a first dance the couple surprised us with a rather untraditional choreography. And Marcelo had an extra surprise: A concert of his self-written song "L'uomo delle stelle" . Even the cake they cut like real warriors. 

We were blown away… And not only by the wind.
