For art and architecture lovers Vicenza is also synonym with Andrea Palladio. With his many urban buildings and villas he definitely left his mark on the Italian architectural landscape throughout Veneto. Did you know Vicenza and the Palladian Villa's are included in UNESCO World Heritage? The rain didn't stop us from exploring. Among others Basilica Palladiana and Santuario Santa Maria Di Monte Berico were mandatory stops. Overlooking the city, the latter is also the best spot to take couple photos. In the wedding venue La Barchessa di Villa Pisani we could enjoy a typical wedding in Italian villa Palladio style.
The North of Italy is not known exactly for its tropical climate. It was cold, but thus extra cosy and extra close...
Snow, rain, sunshine and a storm... We saw it all passing by.
